The Marvel studios have released a trailer of the sci-fi film Captain Marvel’s second franchise named “The Marvels.” The preview showcases the return of Brie Larson, who will once again play the role of Carol Danvers, alias Captain Marvel, as she did in the prior entry of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Additionally, the forthcoming movie will welcome an all-new cohort of otherworldly superheroes to the screen, which includes Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau/Photon, who appeared in the Disney+ television program “WandaVision,” as well as Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel, who is set to make her initial appearance in the forthcoming Disney+ series “Ms. Marvel.”
Within the preview, Captain Marvel partners up with Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan in order to rescue the universe after being thrust into an anomalous wormhole connected to a Kree revolutionary. The trio must collaborate to restore order to the space-time continuum and save the universe.
Helmed by Nia DaCosta (“Candyman”), “The Marvels” pledges to probe further into the Captain Marvel character and how this trio of heroines aims to protect the universe while operating under the guidance of Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury. The movie is set to release in the theaters on 10 November 2023, this is the 33rd feature in the ever-growing Marvel Cinematic Universe.
