Actor Tom Sizemore, known for his appearances in popular films such as True Romance and Saving Private Ryan, has been pronounced to have “no further hope” by doctors after suffering a brain aneurysm on February 18. The actor has been in a coma under intensive care at the hospital since he collapsed at his Los Angeles home, and it has been determined that he suffered a stroke that resulted in the aneurysm.
Charles Lago, Sizemore’s manager, confirmed the news of the actor’s health status and the family’s decision to Variety, saying that the family is now contemplating end-of-life matters. A further statement on Sizemore’s condition is expected to be released on Wednesday. The family has requested privacy during this difficult time and expressed their gratitude for the outpouring of support and prayers they have received.

Sizemore has had a prolific career both on television and in films, with appearances in China Beach, Dr. Vegas, Hawaii Five-0, and Shooter, among others. He most recently starred in the parody series Barbee Rehab. However, his career has been marred by personal issues, including convictions for domestic violence in 2003 and attempting to fake a urine test in 2005. He was also arrested for drug possession in 2007 and 2019.
