The club is based in Henderson, Nevada, and plays its home games at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
The Raiders were founded on January 30, 1960, and were originally based in Oakland, California. They played their first regular season game as a charter member of the American Football League on September 11, 1960. (AFL). With the merger of the AFL and the NFL in 1970, they moved to the NFL.
The Kansas City Chiefs have clinched the top seed in the AFC for the third time in the past five years.
For the conference’s top seed, which comes with a first-round bye and perhaps home-field advantage throughout the postseason, Kansas City defeated the Las Vegas Raiders on Saturday by a score of 31-13.
With quarterback Patrick Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid, the Chiefs have held the top seed three times. They previously accomplished this in 2018 and 2020.

A potential Bills-Chiefs championship game would take place in Kansas City if Buffalo loses in Week 18.
Prior to the first NFL game after the Buffalo Bills safety’s accident, Damar Hamlin received support from the Kansas City Chiefs and the Las Vegas Raiders.
On Monday, Hamlin, 24, went into cardiac arrest on the field during a game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
