Noah Schnapp Comes Out as a Gay.

Actor Noah Schnapp, who stars in the Netflix series “Stranger Things,” recently came out as gay in a TikTok video. In the video, Schnapp lip-synced to a popular TikTok sound while lying in bed, stating “When I finally informed my friends and family I was homosexual after hiding for 18 years out of fear, all they replied was ‘we know.'” Schnapp’s character in “Stranger Things,” Will Byers, is also gay and has feelings for his friend Mike Wheeler.

In July, Schnapp spoke to Variety about his character’s sexuality, saying “I mean, it’s very evident this season that Will has feelings for Mike…I believe for Season 4, it was just me portraying this character who loves his best friend but struggles with knowing if he’ll be welcomed or not, and feels like a mistake and like he doesn’t belong.” He added that Will’s feelings had “always kind of been there.”

Schnapp has received a lot of support from fans on social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter. Flighthouse Media, Netflix Brazil, and MTV are just a few of the accounts that have expressed love and support for Schnapp and adorned his recent posts with pride-flag emojis.

One supporter on Twitter said, “As a bisexual girl, I am so proud of you and I look up to you even more, @noah schnapp.” Another remarked, “I’m really pleased for Noah Schnapp, it’s had to be such an unbelievable experience to come out to millions of people.”

It’s great to see so many people expressing love and support for Schnapp and his decision to come out. Coming out can be a difficult and emotional experience, so it’s important for LGBTQ+ individuals to feel accepted and supported by their loved ones and the wider community. Schnapp’s TikTok video and the outpouring of support from fans show that it’s possible to be true to yourself and find acceptance and love.
