The second season of Wednesday has been confirmed by Netflix, which is essentially unsurprising. However, the idea of Netflix giving us more time to experience this world is still intriguing. It would be fascinating, at the very least, if we weren’t brushing it off and channeling our inner Wednesday Addams. Since almost every show these days faces the possibility of cancellation, avoiding the ax is actually a significant issue.
It looks like Wednesday, a popular Netflix series has been renewed for a second season. The show has received widespread critical acclaim and broke viewership records, and features a standout performance by Jenna Ortega in the titular role.
Showrunner Miles Millar shared a hint about what to expect in the upcoming season, saying that “threats remain out there…to both Wednesday and the school” and that “not all loose ends have been tied up neatly as she thinks they have.” Fans of the series are excited to see more from the Addams family and the dynamic between Wednesday and her friend Enid, as well as the tension between Wednesday and her enemy Bianca. Stay tuned for more details about the second season as they become available.
The obvious issue is what to anticipate now that we are certain that there will be additional episodes. Although it is still early, we are not being deprived of information. Much. Miles Millar, who co-owns the titles of creator, showrunner, and EP with Alfred Gough, provided us with a teeny, small hint as part of an exclusive interview with Tudum.com. There is undoubtedly enough information here to sustain the theories for the time being:
“‘[THE STALKER PROVES] THAT THREATS REMAIN OUT THERE… TO BOTH WEDNESDAY AND THE SCHOOL,’ MILLAR SAYS. ‘NOT ALL NOT LOOSE ENDS HAVE BEEN TIED UP NEATLY AS SHE THINKS THEY HAVE.’”

This series has a lot to offer aside from the mystery. (Again, this is why it has everyone so excited.) We’re hope everything we cherish receives even more attention in the future. We need to learn more about the rest of the Addams family as well as Enid’s unusual friendship, to name a few things off the top of our minds. It will be intriguing to see how Wednesday and Bianca interact with one another. Let’s be honest, though. We simply accept the punishment that the outcasts have in store for us. Normies, however, need not apply.
