Enter your date of birth and this tool calculates your exact age using real calendar math — not a rough estimate based on dividing days by 365. It properly accounts for leap years and the different lengths of each month, so the years, months and days it shows are precise down to the day.

The calculator subtracts your birth date from the reference date using real calendar dates — counting full years to your last birthday, then full months, then the remaining days — rather than dividing total days by 365, which would give a slightly inaccurate result.
In non-leap years, the calculator treats March 1st as the equivalent of your birthday for age purposes, which is the most common convention used in official and legal contexts.
No — your Western zodiac (sun) sign depends only on your day and month of birth, not the year. Your Chinese zodiac animal, on the other hand, is based on your birth year in a 12-year cycle.
