Zach Wilson of the New York Jets left Friday's preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles with a knee injury.

The MRI report is due on Saturday to establish the seriousness of the injury.

After his team's 24-21 victory, Jets head coach Robert Saleh stated that he had no further information.

Following a scramble for seven yards and an ugly cut on a first-quarter play, the Brigham Young product was released.

Wilson, who was not touched during the play, came up hobbling and appeared to favour his right leg before heading for the locker room.

Backup quarterback Mike White took his spot.

With a knee injury, New York later declared Wilson questionable to return.

Wilson, the No. 2 overall choice in the 2021 NFL Draft, is starting his second season with the Jets.
