Will Zalatoris clinched title by making the 10-foot par putt.

On Sunday, it took three playoff holes to get the solution in the FedEx St. Jude Championship.

Zalatoris won his first FedEx Cup playoff event with clutch putts and wise decisions, defeating Sepp Straka.

Zalatoris appeared to be in trouble after hitting a fairway bunker on the 18th hole in regulation, but he made the 10-footer for par and a 4-under 66.

On the 18th playoff hole, he was in the trees, near to a boundary fence, when he cleverly chipped out and made a 15-foot par putt.

His tee shot hit the bank and bounced seven times before coming to rest on the rocks.

Straka followed with a shot that hit the bank, bounced off the rocks, and landed in the water.

William Patrick Zalatoris is a PGA Tour professional golfer from the United States.

Josef "Sepp" Straka is a professional golfer from Austria who competes on the PGA Tour.
