In the WBC championship game on Tuesday night against Japan, Turner smashed a home run once more for Team USA.

Turner tied the record for the most home runs in a single game during the Classic when he blasted a home run in the second inning.

Japan won its third WBC championship while going undefeated, while Team USA was defeated 3-2.

The United States took a 1-0 lead over Japan after Turner's most recent home run.

In the bottom of the second inning, Japanese third baseman Munetaka Murakami hit a home ball into the upper deck beyond right field to tie the game, 1-1.

Turner presently has the most home runs in this year's tournament, while Masataka Yoshida of Japan now trails him by one RBI as a result of his single home run. (10).

Turner needs just one more RBI to tie Wladimir Balentien's tournament record of 12 runs scored in seven games for the Netherlands in 2017.
