The good news for the Dallas Cowboys is that Dak Prescott has been activated off the injured list and will play on Sunday.
The bad news is that top wide receiver Michael Gallup will not be available.
Gallup was ruled out of Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by the Cowboys on Friday.
Gallup has been hampered in practise due to a knee issue all week.
Due to injury, Gallup finished fifth on the Cowboys in receiving yards and seventh in receptions last season.
However, Amari Cooper's offseason departure ensured that he would play an even bigger role in the offence this year.
Michael Gallup was drafted in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft, but he had an immediate impact on offense.
He was a starter across from Amari Cooper by his second year on the team, finishing the year with 66 receptions for 1,107 yards and six touchdowns, both career highs.
ast season, however, injuries restricted Gallup to 35 receptions for 445 yards and two touchdowns on the league's top offense.
