Margaret Court, an Australian tennis icon, slammed Serena Williams, who recently ended her illustrious career.
The Australian, who has won 24 Grand Slam titles, stated that she does not receive the recognition she deserves, naming Williams as one among them.
Court now 80 stated in an interview, "I liked Serena as a player, but I don't think she ever admired me."
Serena ended her career with 23 Grand Slam titles, one less than the Australian, which she won from 1960 to 1973.
Serena had played seven years more than court.
Court have won 24 out of 25 tournaments after having baby which serena haven't won one.
During the interview, Court also reminded her detractors that she had a better track record than Williams after they became mothers and went on with their careers.
Court also refuted the notion that her 11 Australian Open singles victories were less valuable than Williams' seven.
Court expressed disappointment that Williams made no mention of Australian Ajla Tomljanovic following her final match.
