Tamil Actor-Director G Marimuthu Passes Away at 57: Industry Mourns

Tamil actor-director G Marimuthu, known for his roles in movies like 'Jailer,' passed away at the age of 57. 

The South Indian Artists Association confirmed Marimuthu's demise, attributing it to a cardiac arrest that occurred on Friday. 

Reports suggest that Marimuthu fell ill while dubbing for a Tamil TV serial and was immediately rushed to the hospital. 

In recent times, Marimuthu had transitioned into acting and appeared in numerous movies and tele-serials. 

The Tamil film industry expressed its condolences for the loss of the talented 57-year-old actor. 

Thailaiva Rajinikanth paid tribute to Marimuthu, describing him as a wonderful person and extending heartfelt condolences to his family. 

Actor Prasanna, who starred in two films directed by Marimuthu, shared his grief and the close bond they shared. 

Sun Pictures acknowledged Marimuthu's impeccable work and mourned his irreplaceable loss. 

Actor Shanthnu expressed shock and paid his respects to Marimuthu, acknowledging his recent work. 

Marimuthu had a diverse career, ranging from filmmaking to acting in notable Tamil films like 'Vaali,' 'Jeeva,' and 'Pariyerum Perumal,' leaving a lasting impact on the industry.
