The Philadelphia 76ers have traded James Harden to the Los Angeles Clippers, concluding the lengthy trade saga.
The Sixers are also sending PJ Tucker and Filip Petrusev to the Clippers as part of the trade deal.
In exchange, the Sixers will acquire Robert Covington, Nicolas Batum, KJ Martin, Marcus Morris Sr., and draft compensation, including a 2028 unprotected first-round pick.
To make room for the trade, the Sixers are waiving Danny Green.
James Harden, who played 79 regular-season games with the Sixers since joining in February 2022, contributed significantly to the team's success.
Harden's second stint with the Sixers ended amid controversy, including public trade demands and trust issues with management.
The Sixers will move forward with a new phase led by Joel Embiid and rising star Tyrese Maxey.
