The Real host and rapper husband Jeannie Mai Jenkins and Jeezy, who were married in 2021, are ending their marriage.
Jeezy, 45, officially filed for divorce from his wife, the 44-year-old host of The Real, in Atlanta, Georgia.
The couple had been married for two and a half years and had a prenuptial agreement in place.
Jeezy's divorce filing stated that the couple was currently living separately and that their marriage was irretrievably broken with no hope for reconciliation.
The rapper expressed his desire for joint legal custody of their daughter in the divorce documents.
Jeannie Mai Jenkins and Jeezy exchanged vows in March 2021 at their Atlanta home and welcomed their daughter, Monaco, in January 2022.
They celebrated their two-year anniversary with a surprise trip to Vietnam, a trip organized by Jenkins as a long-awaited adventure.
Their bond was initially forged over the similarities and differences in their cultures, and the birth of their daughter added even more significance to their multicultural family.
Despite initial plans to propose in Vietnam in 2020, Jeezy had to alter his plans due to the COVID-19 pandemic, eventually proposing in a memorable way.
The couple's love story began when they met on the set of The Real in November 2018, and after quietly dating, they publicly acknowledged their relationship in August 2019.
