Griggs had revealed her cervical cancer diagnosis on social media.

She was diagnosed with stage 4 endocervical adenocarcinoma in 2020.

She detailed her health issues on Facebook throughout the last few years.

She rose to prominence as Stephanie Hobart in the daily soap drama One Life to Live.

Griggs began her career as a child actor when she played Molly in Annie.

On August 13, 2022, she died of the condition at the age of 49.
