According to Bloomberg, Rivian  is reducing its personnel by 6%.

According to reports, the rationale for the decrease was that the carmaker had simply grown too quickly in certain sectors, leaving it with too many employees performing the same responsibilities.

As of Dec 31,2021 the total number of employees in Rivian was 10,422.
