Results and highlights of the Arsenal vs. AC Milan game as Odegaard scores to win the Dubai Super Cup

By Nitin Singh

Arsenal kept up their winning ways by defeating AC Milan 2-1 on Tuesday in the second of two friendlies they played in Dubai.

After 21 minutes, captain Martin Odegaard's expertly delivered left-footed free kick that went into the goal gave the Premier League leaders the perfect start.

Odegaard contributed to Arsenal's doubled lead just before halftime, even though Nelson was given official credit for the goal.

The Italian champions got a goal back through former Chelsea centre back Fikayo Tomori in the 78th minute, that was enough for Arsenal to win.

Arsenal earned an additional point for triumphing 4-3 in the subsequent penalty shootout.

Reiss Nelson completed a well-executed Gunners attack, giving Mikel Arteta's team a chance to extend their lead just before halftime.

Fabio Vieira's attempt from outside the area nearly gave the Premier League leaders a third goal when it curled into the top-left corner.

Fikayo Tomori's goal for Milan gave the game's final 10 minutes some excitement, but the Italians were unable to complete the comeback.

Tomori expertly headed a free kick from Sandro Tonali into the bottom corner, but there was no time for an equaliser.

Arsenal held on to its lead throughout the game before winning 4-3 on penalties to earn an extra point.
