Popular Minecraft streaming YouTuber Technoblade dies at 23
In August last year, popular Minecraft content creator and streamer Technoblade was diagnosed with cancer.
However, after battling the disease for almost 10 months, Technoblade passed away at the young age of 23.
Technoblade's father announced his passing via a YouTube video titled "So Long Nerds".
The video was uploaded earlier today and has garnered nearly seven million views so far.
In the video, Technoblade's father reads an emotional letter written in the same style, i.e., as a voice-over on the game's clip, just as the YouTuber used to do.
In the letter, the YouTuber talks about how he wants to have one last chat with his audience and how his real name is Alex, not Dave.
TechnoBlade expressed its gratitude to all its members, subscribers of the channel and those who bought its merchandise.
His father explained how Technoblade asked his followers to shoot a final video, but could not.
