A lady opened fire inside a terminal at Dallas Love Field Airport in the US state of Texas before being shot by a responding police officer.
Nobody else was hurt in the shooting, and the terminal is safe.
The 37-year-old woman, whose identity has not been revealed, was shot in the lower extremities and rushed to a hospital in uncertain condition, following the gun fire.
She was dropped off around 10:59 a.m., entered the airport, and ducked into a restroom near the Southwest Airlines ticket booth.
She apparently dressed differently, probably in a hoodie, and fired several shots into the air.
A ground halt was implemented at the airport and was set to be lifted at 1:30 p.m.
Monday afternoon, operations were halted for several hours.
According to the Transportation Security Administration, airport security checkpoint activities have also restarted.
Dallas Love Field Airport is approximately 6 miles northwest of downtown Dallas and serves mostly Southwest Airlines.
