Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, was only rated as the eighth-best quarterback in the league by PFF in Week 1

When the grade was revealed, it was met with mockery and criticism.

Following the Chiefs' 27-24 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday night, the mockery continued.

On Thursday night, Mahomes spoke about a dropped interception that had struck the ground before dropping the mike on PFF as he left the podium.

When compared to a week prior, Mahomes was not quite as dominant.

Mahome produced some absolutely incredible plays, though, to help the Chiefs start the season 2-0, and he was still terrific for the most part.

Mahome ultimately completed 24 out of 35 passes for 235 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions.

Mahome now has seven touchdowns and zero interceptions after two games this season.

American football quarterback Patrick Lavon Mahomes II plays for the National Football League's Kansas City Chiefs.
