Oscar- and Golden Globe-winning actor and comedian Mo’Nique is planning a fresh new comedy special for Netflix.

Mo’Nique made the announcement in a video message posted to the streamer’s Twitter account on Tuesday, cracking, “Can y’all believe this shit? I done came on home to Netflix.”

The yet-to-be-titled special is set to film later this year in Atlanta, with additional details to be announced in the coming months.

Monique Angela Hicks, known professionally as Mo'Nique, is an American stand-up comedian and actress

She has received an Academy Award, BAFTA Award, Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, and Grammy Award.

Mo'Nique was born on December 11, 1967, in Woodlawn, Baltimore County, Maryland

Mo'Nique portrayed Nicole "Nikki" Parker on the UPN television series The Parkers from 1999 to 2004

Mo'Nique's first play was Eve Ensler's Obie Award-winning production of The Vagina Monologues in March 2002

Before she was an actress, Monique worked as a customer service representative at the phone company MCI in Hunt Valley, Maryland.
