Notre Dame Dominates USC, Ends Unbeaten Streak in Convincing Victory.

Notre Dame's victory over USC was a pivotal moment, knocking its fiercest rival from the unbeaten rankings. 

Xavier Watts's standout performance included two interceptions of Caleb Williams and a fumble return for a touchdown. 

The Fighting Irish, coming off two recent losses, made a remarkable comeback against their West Coast rivals. 

Benjamin Morrison's interception set up a crucial touchdown, propelling Notre Dame to a 24-3 lead. 

Despite previously being intercepted only once, Caleb Williams faced four sacks and ended with 199 passing yards and a touchdown. 

USC, averaging 51.8 points per game, struggled with five turnovers and limited rushing yards against Notre Dame's dominant defense. 

Notre Dame's coach, Marcus Freeman, emphasized an aggressive approach to contain Caleb Williams, acknowledging his exceptional talent in college football.
