Sizemore started his acting career in the late 1980s, appearing in small roles in films such as "Born on the Fourth of July" and "Lock Up."

He also struggled with drugs and was imprisoned for domestic abuse.
He received a six-month prison sentence in 2003 for assaulting Heidi Fleiss, a former "Hollywood madam," and was also ordered to go through rehabilitation and anger management.
