Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is one of the world's largest units, as well as one of Hollywood's most avid watch collectors.

The 50-year-old actor, former professional wrestler, and tequila entrepreneur devotes a significant portion of his $800 million fortune to fine timepieces.

Rock has been photographed wearing watches by Breitling, Hamilton, Oris, Panerai, and Rolex.

Rock's taste tends to be on the larger side (he's a big guy, after all), but he has one of the most mature and complex watch collections in Hollywood.

However, Rock's most recent watch purchase may be the most famous 'big' watch on the planet.

The Rock served as the announcer for the Los Angeles Rams vs. Buffalo Bills NFL season opening (something he's done before, most notably for last year's Super Bowl).

Rock was dressed simply for the event, with a black tank top and an IWC Schaffhausen Big Pilot's Watch.

The Big Pilot is IWC's most well-known design and one of the most recognisable watches in history.

The Big Pilot was first made public in 2002, and it is based on the large "B-Uhr" observation watches that IWC produced in the 1940s for various air forces during World War II.
