On Thursday night, the Baltimore Ravens were defeated by the Miami Dolphins, 22-10.

John Harbaugh, the head coach, is solely responsible for the loss.

The Ravens dropped to 6-3, while the Dolphins improved to 3-7.

Baltimore's string of 51 consecutive regular-season games with at least 14 points was broken.

It was the second-longest such streak in NFL history, trailing only the New England Patriots' 63-game record from 2009 to 2013.

Beyond the usual criticism of John Harbaugh's continued use of Greg Roman to direct this offence.

For Harbaugh, who is usually good at managing a game, today was a nightmare in terms of scenario coaching.

The most significant issue was time management.

For some reason, Harbaugh allowed the Dolphins to run out the clock. With 39 seconds left, Chase Edmonds broke a big run to get inside the Raven 10-yard line. The Ravens ought to have taken a timeout at that point.
