Christian McCaffrey has been listed as out for the Carolina Panthers for the whole week.

Some are wondering if he will be available for the team's Week 1 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. He appears to be well.

The Panthers have announced that Christian McCaffrey has been removed off the injured report.

McCaffrey will be ready to go when the Panthers face the Browns on Sunday.

McCaffrey was suffering from shin soreness after being struck by a cleat during practise on Thursday.

Matt Rhule stated this Friday afternoon that the Panthers merely added Christian McCaffrey to the injured list out of necessity. 

Matt Rhule stated he would not have revealed Christian McCaffrey being cut by a cleat in practise yesterday if it hadn't been for protocol.

Kimberley Martin stated that the Panthers running back is expected to play on Sunday.

McCaffrey will join Baker Mayfield in the Panthers backfield against the Browns on the first Sunday of the 2022 season.
