On Sunday, an enraged Tom Brady broke a tie with a 28-yard touchdown pass, while Saints quarterback Jameis Winston threw three fourth-quarter interceptions.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the New Orleans Saints 20-10 at the Caesars Superdome.

With 7:49 remaining in the game, Brady connected with Breshad Perriman on a 28-yard touchdown pass, breaking a 3-3 tie and giving the Buccaneers their first lead of the game.

Two disputed penalties against the Saints defence preserved Tampa's last drive.

The Saints, though, were unable to correct their own errors, which included four late turnovers.

On three consecutive fourth-quarter possessions, Winston was intercepted, with Mike Edwards returning the third one 68 yards for a touchdown.

Prior to another costly error in the final 80 seconds of the third quarter, the Saints had been poised to take control of the game.

With 3:07 left, Winston recovered from the pick six and found Michael Thomas for a 7-yard touchdown throw, bringing the Saints within 20-10.

Brady's victory over the Saints was his first in five regular-season games since joining the Buccaneers in 2020. Brady also beat the Saints with Tampa Bay in a playoff game in January 2021.
