Former NFL player D.J. Hayden was tragically among the six victims killed in a devastating overnight crash in Houston, Texas. 

Fatal crash at Pierce and Fannin: A speeding southbound driver ran a red light, causing two vehicles to lose control, resulting in a flipped SUV and four immediate fatalities, per Houston PD. 

Four additional individuals were rushed to the hospital, where two more lost their lives, while one female victim remains in critical condition following the crash. 

Shockingly, one of the deceased victims was identified as an unhoused man, emphasizing the indiscriminate nature of the tragedy. 

Witnesses recounted the horrific sound of the collision, describing it as akin to "two trains crashing together," leaving an indelible impact on those who were in close proximity to the incident.

The victims include five men and one woman, with D.J. Hayden being one of the casualties. The identities of all the victims are yet to be fully confirmed by authorities.
