One week after Scott Frost was sacked by Nebraska, another significant college football programme is said to have changed its head coach.

Herm Edwards, Arizona State's head coach, was fired on Sunday.

Herm Edwards is no longer the head football coach at ASU.

Within the past hour, ASU staff members were informed that Edwards would no longer be the team's coach. Plans for interim head coaching are not yet known "Chris Karpman provides a report.

Edwards, 68, has been the program's head coach since the 2018 season. 

Arizona State has yet to confirm his firing on Sunday afternoon.

Herman Edwards Jr., an American football coach and former cornerback, was most recently the head coach at Arizona State.

Edwards spent ten seasons in the National Football League (NFL), mostly with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Edwards made the playoffs four times while coaching in the NFL, three times with the Jets and one time with the Chiefs.
