Pete Carroll, the head coach of the Seattle Seahawks, said the victory over Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos was "very fulfilling" for former players.

The Seattle Seahawks were not anticipated to have much success heading into the 2022 season. Instead, they were able to defeat the Denver Broncos in a huge shock.

Russell Wilson, the quarterback the Denver Broncos acquired in the deal, was already there.

Peter carroll was asked on 710 ESPN radio that whether the win was validating then he said , every player happy in winning  against Russel wilson.

As soon as Seattle's victory over Denver was done, former players like Doug Baldwin and Richard Sherman tweeted their reactions.

The Seahawks dealt quarterback Drew Lock, tight end Noah Fant, defensive lineman Shelby Harris, and many draft picks to the Broncos in exchange for Wilson this offseason.

Wilson led the Broncos into Lumen Field before the game, and the Seahawks crowd booed him.

Denver had many chances to win the game, but Seattle's pressure led to fumbles on running backs Melvin Gordon and Javonte Williams on back-to-back drives in the end zone.

Then, on Denver's final drive of the game, Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett elected to substitute kicker Brandon McManus for Wilson on fourth-and-five just past midfield in order to try a 64-yard field goal.
