Keenan Allen caught four passes for 66 yards before leaving the game in the first half of the Chargers' victory over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
Allen had a hamstring injury, which could keep him out of the game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday.
DeAndre Carter took Allen's place.
Carter caught three passes for 64 yards and one touchdown, a 23-yard pass from quarterback Justin Herbert that gave the Chargers a 17-3 lead with 35 seconds left in the first half.
Carter made a diving catch in the end zone to snag Herbert's strike.
After the game, coach Brandon Staley said he didn't have an update on Allen.
Keenan Allen and DeAndre Carter are American wide receiver and return specialist playing for Los Angeles Chargers in NFL.
The Chargers selected Allen in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
Carter signed as an undrafted free agent with the Baltimore Ravens in 2015.
