For linebacker Justin Houston of the Ravens, age is just a number.
The four-time Pro Bowler made NFL and Baltimore history with his remarkable performance during the team's victory over the Saints on "Monday Night Football."
Since 1982, Houston is the second-oldest player to have both 2.5 sacks and an interception in the same game.
Only Trace Armstrong, who played for the Raiders in 2022 at age 37, posted the identical stat line as the 33-year-old player at an older age.
Houston became the only Raven to ever accomplish that accomplishment by recording at least two sacks in three straight games.
The veteran has participated in five games for the Ravens during his second season. His career total of 110.5 sacks is the result of his recording at least one in each game.
The Ravens had just made a field goal to increase their lead to 20-6 when Houston made a pick in the fourth quarter. Three plays later, Kenyan Drake scored a touchdown to make the score 27-6.
The only other touchdown that Mike Macdonald's team allowed all night was a TD by the Saints in overtime.
With four sacks and the interception combined, Houston and the Baltimore defence held the New Orleans offence to only 243 yards.
