Adam Gotsis has returned to Duval.

The Jacksonville Jaguars made the announcement that Gotsis had been added to the active roster once more.

Additionally, the Jaguars acquired wide receiver Jaylon Moore and defensive tackle Mario Edwards to the practise squad.

Gotsis signed with the Jaguars in 2020.

On September 1, he was waived by the Chicago Bears and picked up by Jacksonville in exchange for linebacker Caleb Johnson.

Ty Summers, a linebacker Jacksonville recently acquired off waivers from the Green Bay Packers, was released over the weekend, freeing up a roster spot for Gotsis.

In 2021, Gotsis appeared in 16 games for the Jaguars, including four starts.

He had 27 total tackles, six sacks, and six tackles for loss.

Gotsis has 173 tackles, 19 tackles for loss, eight sacks, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and 16 passes defensed in 89 career games.
