NFL imposes another fine on Patriots quarterback Mac Jones

Mac Jones, the quarterback for the Patriots, has previously been a part of several dubious plays. For any of them, he has not yet received a fine.

Jones will pay a punishment for his Saturday knee strike on Bengals quarterback Eli Apple.

Jones will pay a $11,139 punishment for his low block on Apple. It took place following a change of possession, at which point all blocks below the waist are prohibited under the rules.

Jones will receive a letter informing him of the fine on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Jones participated in the attempt to make a tackle, Jones' action seemed dubious. following a turnover.

Jones argues that he was attempting to prevent Apple from obstructing Patriots receiver Tyquan Thornton.

The Patriots choose Jones in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

During his debut season, Jones guided the Patriots to the playoffs and was selected for the Pro Bowl.

Jones committed to a four-year rookie deal with a $15.6 million fully guaranteed salary on July 6, 2021.
