This September, San Francisco 49ers injuries seem to be multiplying.

The 49ers have recently been hit by the injury bug once more, following the loss of leading rusher Elijah Mitchell for eight weeks and quarterback Trey Lance for the season.

Tyrion Davis-Price, a rookie running back with the 49ers, sustained a severe ankle sprain.

Davis-Price will be out for  few weeks as he recovers.

Davis-Price is in his first year with the 49ers after being selected in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

After an outstanding season at LSU, Davis was selected 93rd overall.

Because of Davis-injury, Price's Jeff Wilson and Deebo Samuel are the 49ers' only running backs with any experience right now.

Davis-Price led the squad with 1,003 running yards in 2021.

In 2021, he made LSU history by setting a school record by rushing for 287 yards against Florida.
