The Dolphins Week 5 matchup against the Jets will be without Tua Tagovailoa.

Teddy Bridgewater, an experienced quarterback, will start in place of Tagovailoa.

After taking a blow to the head during Miami's loss to Cincinnati last Thursday night and being diagnosed with a concussion, Tagovailoa was briefly admitted to the hospital.

Four days before to his injury, Tagovailoa had been forced to leave the Dolphins Week 3 game against Buffalo after hurting the back of his head in the opening period.

The early reports on Tagovailoa's head injury against the Bills were later updated to include back and ankle problems.

Bridgewater, a nine-year pro who represented the Vikings in 2015 and was named to the Pro Bowl,

After replacing Tagovailoa against the Bengals last Thursday, Bridgewater completed 14 of 25 passes for 193 yards, a touchdown, and an interception.

The Dolphins will play the 2-2 Jets in their following game after they upset the Steelers on the road in Week 4.
