Next season, Deion Sanders will bring a former SEC recruit to Jackson State.

According to On3 Sports' Matt Zenitz, linebacker King Mwikuta has transferred to the FCS programme.

He'll be a fifth-year senior with the Tigers in 2023.

Mwikuta, a four-star recruit from the 2019 class, begins his collegiate career at Alabama.

Over three years, he mostly played on special teams and had six tackles.

Mwikuta also recovered a blocked fumble in the end zone against Texas A&M last season.

Mwikuta re-entered the transfer portal in early August after moving to Arkansas State during the offseason.

Sanders added another Power 5 talent to his roster in his attempt to turn Jackson State into a powerhouse.

The Pro Football Hall of Famer stunned the globe when he signed top 2022 prospect Travis Hunter.
