Joe Haden, a cornerback for the Pittsburgh Steelers for five seasons, is signing a one-day deal with the Cleveland Browns.
The 12-year NFL veteran is officially retiring after signing a one-day contract with the Cleveland Browns.
After dealing with injury concerns, he chose to retire from football at the age of 33 rather than look for another team.
Haden, a first-round selection of the Browns in 2010, spent seven seasons there.
After 168 games, three Pro Bowl appearances, 615 tackles, 19 interceptions, and
two touchdowns, he walks away.
Haden spent five seasons with the Steelers, and in 2019 he was selected to play in his third Pro Bowl.
Haden had 238 tackles, one sack, 10 interceptions, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and a
touchdown in 68 games with Pittsburgh.
