Jadeveon Clowney will not participate in Thursday night's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to the Cleveland Browns.
During the Browns' humiliating defeat to the New York Jets in Week 2, the seasoned pass rushing specialist sustained an ankle injury.
Prior to getting hurt, Clowney had a good start to the 2022 season.
The former first-round pick recorded a strip sack and a fumble recovery on New York quarterback Joe Flacco during the first half of Sunday's game against the Jets.
Clowney has made five tackles and one and a half sacks thus far this season.
Chase Winovich, Clowney's seasoned back-up, has also been ruled out of tomorrow night's game.
Defensive end rookies Pass-rushers Alex Wright and Isaiah Thomas will have to step up.
Myles Garrett, who missed practise this week due to a neck injury, should be able to go on Thursday.
