Brennan Scarlett, a Miami Dolphins DE/LB, was placed on injured reserve after an injury settlement.

Scarlett can now play for the Dolphins or another team this season as a result of the transfer.

Scarlett is predicted to be fully recovered by week seven or eight.

Scarlett would have been out for the entire season if he had remained on IR.

He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Houston Texans in 2016.

After spending the first six seasons of his career with the Houston Texans, the 29-year-old pro joins the Dolphins in March of 2021.

He appeared in 13 games for Miami and recorded 19 tackles and one pass defence. He did not have a sack.

On March 22, 2021, Scarlett signed with the Miami Dolphins. On November 23, 2021, he was placed on injured reserve. On January 1, 2022, he was activated.

Scarlett re-signed with the Dolphins on March 22, 2022. On August 30, he was placed on injured reserve.
