The Chicago Bears took a couple of steps back on Sunday, just when you thought they were beginning to go forward.

In Week 2, the Bears were humiliated by the rival Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

Chicago would go on to be outscored 24-3 over the course of the following three quarters after a strong start that saw the Bears establish a 7-3 lead.

After the Bears' victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1, the result was undoubtedly disheartening for the team's supporters.

However, Justin Fields' Sunday night remarks may have been even more disheartening.

"The loss affects us more than it does Bears fans," Fields said, according to team footage.

Field said, "At the end of the day, they're not working. Every day, I see the boys in the locker room, and I see how hard they work. So, while a loss like this is disappointing, we must respond.

Justin Skyler Field is an American football quarterback with the National Football League's Chicago Bears (NFL). The Bears selected him in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Field signed his four-year rookie contract, worth $18.8 million fully guaranteed, on June 10, 2021.
