On Sunday, the Baker Mayfield Experience was in full swing.

As the former Cleveland Browns face sought retribution in the form of a season-opening win for his new team, the Carolina Panthers.

In their 26-24 loss to Cleveland on Sunday, Mayfield and the Panthers went through it all.

By directing three touchdown drives, the fifth-year quarterback helped them come back from a 13-point fourth-quarter deficit (a seven-yard scoring scramble, a 75-yard touchdown pass and a lead-capturing 34-yard field goal with 1:13 left on the clock)

only to see Cleveland's first-year kicker, Cade York, nail a 58-yard field goal with eight seconds left.

In his four seasons in Cleveland, Mayfield did improve the city's stability and contribute to the team's 18-year postseason drought ending.

In addition, Mayfield gave them their first playoff victory in 26 years. However, the Browns thought Mayfield had given them all he could give.
