LeBron James and Anthony Davis lead the Los Angeles Lakers to victory

LeBron James helped the Los Angeles Lakers defeat the Denver Nuggets 121-110 to secure their first victory of the new NBA season.
The Lakers snapped a five-game losing streak thanks to 37-year-old James 26 points and Anthony Davis 23 points.
Nikola Jokic
led the Nuggets with 23 points, Russell Westbrook, who came off the bench, contributed 18 points.
The Lakers new coach, Darvin Ham, stated that "we needed to show something to ourselves."
Due to an injury sustained during the warm-up,
Bones Hyland
was not available for the Nuggets.
With 3:45 remaining in the third quarter, the Nuggets had a commanding 83-75 lead.
The Lakers led 93-85 entering the fourth quarter thanks to a run of 18-2 that included 10 points from
Lonnie Walker IV.
The Lakers secured victory with a tip-in by Davis and a layup by Westbrook after holding off a late charge from the Nuggets.
The Lakers defeated the Nuggets 128-114 to snap their five-game losing run.
