The 77th NBA season begins on Tuesday with a matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers, the defending champions.

The Warriors, led by Steph Curry, are the favourites to win the championship again.

The latest altercation between two players, according to Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, was the "worst crisis" he had experienced in his nearly ten years as coach.

Video of Warriors forward Draymond Green hitting teammate Jordan Poole during a practise session surfaced last week.

Green is an essential part of the Warriors' scheme for the kind of basketball Kerr prefers to play.

The 32-year-old Green was fined and required to miss several days of practise.

James of the Lakers is frequently mentioned in second place to Michael Jordan of the Chicago Bulls. Despite the fact that many believe he can eventually narrow the gap during this campaign.

Curry had a great start with 33 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists.

The Lakers' big three carried the bulk of the load. LeBron attempted to bring his side back, but the effort proved to be a little difficult.
