In a lawsuit filed in San Diego County Superior Court on Thursday, Bills rookie punter Matt Araiza and two others are accused of gang raping a 17-year-old girl last year.
Zavier Leonard, a redshirt freshman for the Aztecs, and Nowlin Ewaliko are the other men named in the complaint.
Nowlin Ewaliko, who was a freshman last season, is no longer on the roster.
All three have been charged with rape, gender violence, and false imprisonment.
Araiza, who was 21 at the time, is accused in the lawsuit of having sex with the then-high school senior.
In California, a high school senior was under the legal drinking age while outside at an off-campus party held at his home in the early hours of October 17, 2021.
According to the complaint Araiza then led her into a room with at least three other men, among them Leonard and Ewaliko.
She was raped repeatedly for about an hour and a half before the party was called off.
Kerry Armstrong, Araiza's criminal attorney, called the accusation false and stated that his investigator spoke with witnesses from the opposing party who contradicted what is stated in the lawsuit.
