Manchester United and Manchester City will clash in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, June 3, 2023.

This is the first time the two rivals have met in the FA Cup final since 2011, when City won 1-0 thanks to a goal from Yaya Toure.

City are also aiming to complete a domestic treble this season, having already won the Premier League and the Carabao Cup.

United, meanwhile, are looking to win their first trophy under manager Erik ten Hag, who took over from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in December 2022.

Both teams have had impressive runs to the final, with City scoring 19 goals and conceding only two in their six matches.

They beat Arsenal 1-0 in the fourth round, thanks to a late goal from Phil Foden, who has been one of their standout performers this season.

Foden has formed a lethal partnership with Erling Haaland, who joined City from Borussia Dortmund for a world-record fee of £150 million last summer.

Haaland has scored 42 goals in all competitions for City, including six in the FA Cup.

United have also been prolific in front of goal, scoring 18 times and conceding four in their six games. They beat Reading 3-1 in the fourth round, with Casemiro scoring twice and Fred adding another.

The Brazilian duo have been instrumental for United this season, providing stability and creativity in midfield.

United also have plenty of firepower up front, with Marcus Rashford leading the line with 28 goals in all competitions.

The two teams have met three times this season, with United winning twice and City once.

The most recent encounter was in April, when United won 3-2 at the Etihad Stadium, thanks to a brace from Rashford and a goal from Christian Eriksen.

City had taken a 2-0 lead through Foden and Haaland, but United staged a remarkable comeback to claim a memorable victory.
