Shaquem Griffin, a former linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks, announced his retirement from football on Wednesday.
He played four seasons in the NFL.
One year after his twin brother Shaquill was also taken by Seattle in the fifth round of the 2018 draft, Griffin was chosen by the Seahawks.
At age four, the linebacker had his left hand amputated.
Griffin said on The Player's Tribune that he has accepted commissioner Roger Goodell's invitation to join the NFL Legends Community,
which had been offered during a meeting in February during Super Bowl week.
