QB Kyler Murray of the Arizona Cardinals appeared to be hurt on the first drive against the New England Patriots.

After their bye week, the Arizona Cardinals looked to end the season well. Getting everyone well in time for the final five games was a part of that.

Kyler Murray had hoped to stay healthy for the remainder of the season after missing a few games with a hamstring issue. But that didn't happened.

Murray stumbled and fell after a 3-yard run on the third play from scrimmage.

Murray had been flagged as maybe returning at first, but the scene was bleak, and he was quickly disqualified.

According to Ian Rapoport, Murray may have suffered a significant injury, and an MRI and other testing will be conducted soon.

Murray was encircled by medical personnel and his teammates before being carried away and having a towel placed over his head.

Colt McCoy, who has had some success when given the chance in Arizona, took Murray's position.

In the early going of the first quarter, the Cardinals and Patriots are still tied.
