Due to a hamstring injury, Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen will not play against the Houston Texans on Sunday.

Center Both tight end Donald Parham Jr. and running back Corey Linsley are doubtful due to injuries to their knees and hamstrings, respectively.

Both quarterback Justin Herbert and cornerback J.C. Jackson, who have rib cartilage fractures, will play despite their injuries.

The Chargers are 1-2 and have been hampered by many injury problems.

Earlier this week, the left tackle Rashawn Slater and the edge rusher Joey Bosa were placed on injured reserve.

Allen missed the following weeks of action due to a hamstring ailment.

Coach Brandon Staley had previously indicated increased optimism that Allen could be able to play against the Texans earlier in the week.

Since 2017, Allen has led the Chargers in receptions.

Jalen Guyton, a backup wide receiver for the Bolts, is also out after tearing his left ACL on Sunday.
