When he spoke on "The Greg Hill Show" on Friday, the adored former Patriot claimed he couldn't picture playing anywhere other than New England.

"Realistically, no, in all honesty. I can't imagine performing elsewhere. I feel like that right now," he remarked.

After taking a year off, Edelman has talked more and more about making a comeback in recent months, declaring in June that his body "feels very straight."

When questioned on Friday about if he was getting ready for an NFL return, he was cryptic.

Edelman said he would "probably" only return as a Patriot in that same interview from June.

For what it's worth, Bill Belichick recently made an appearance of his own on "The Greg Hill Show" and claimed to have regular touch with Edelman.

Following a string of bothersome knee issues, Edelman announced his retirement at the conclusion of the 2020 season.

Edelman stated that he feels stronger today than at the end of his playing career in an interview with Chris Long from last week.

Despite being on injured reserve, Tyquan Thornton still sports the number 11. The planning of a deal shouldn't be all that difficult.
